I bought this screen protector for my new Kindle Fire. I looked at the screen protector that was from Kindle, but they wanted like $14.00 for one. So I searched Amazon for a cheaper one, when I came across this one. It is a 3 pack, and I believe we only paid $4 and some change for it! I was able to install it with little trouble, and there are NO bubbles under the screen at all! If you follow the instructions that come with it, you will have no bubbles, and you won't even know it's there! Finger prints wipe off the screen easy, and I have to say it works perfectly! EXCELLENT PRODUCT!! I would definitely purchase this item again from this supplier!

I picked up this screen protector to add to my new Fire as soon as I received it.
I have used many screen protectors as well as skins on appliances of various sizes in the past and this one is a disappointment.
The box comes with 3 screen protectors, 2 wipe clothes and a "squeegee" (that's how they call that little plastic card?).
PROS:
I can see only one: the clarity is very good. When it is well applied and provided there is no direct light shining onto the screen, you see through the protector just as if it weren't there.
CONS:
First, the installation is not as easy as some other screen protectors I have used:
Of course, I proceeded in bright light, slowly and after thoroughly cleaning the screen with the provided clothes. The screen protector is thicker and stiffer than most I have used before. I managed to smooth away the few air bubbles that formed during the application within a few minutes and by applying quite a bit of outward pressure. However, one little bubble resisted: I realized it had the tiniest speck of dust in its center and there was no way to remove it. So I lifted the screen and delicately tried to remove it with the end of twizzers I had thoroughly cleaned. Well, that made everything worse: a few more specks, not really visible to the naked eye, found their way under the screen protector (which is sticky and has a lot of static). It was so bad I had to discard the protector and use a new one!
Secondly, and as mentioned by the other reviewer of this item, the size of the protector is off by a tiny bit: just enough to make a crease in which dirt can gather...
Finally, and that's the deal breaker for me, this screen protector is a finger print magnet! It shows smudges and even small taps at least as much as the Fire screen, if not more! If you combine this with the very clear glossy finish, it makes it really hard to see some images in brighter light, natural or artificial.
Overall, I am not recommending this product and I will buy a different one as soon as another Fire screen protector gets some good users reviews.
UPDATE 11/18: After using the screen protector for the 3 days I have had my Kindle, I can confirm that I don't care for this product and will be replacing it. That tiny crease around the edges due to the slightly small size catches all the crumbs and dirties from my 2 yr-old paws (who loves the Kindle Fire by the way!). In addition, it doesn't help at all with the glare. I will be changing the protector soon.
I have added a picture to show the issues I am reporting.
Also, I have noticed that the price has gone up in $1 increments each day since the release of the product... Just FYI: I paid $8.95 for it.

I am impressed with the quality of this protector, it applied easily, protects well and is crystal clear. For those that say there is a huge gap on the sides, the gap is, at most a tenth of an inch, and it actually makes it easier to apply, without any wiggle room protectors can be much more difficult to apply. If you want to make sure it goes on well, run a shower for a few minutes in the bathroom and then apply it, making sure to clean the screen first with the soft cloth and use some compressed air to make sure. The only negative I have is fingerprints and smudges show up easily, but easily fixed with a wipe. You also get 3 in each pack, which is nice in case you do mess up applying one, or need to send the device in for repair or replacement.

I ordered this product for two reasons.
1. I was previously satisfied with the myGearstore Clear & Anti-Glare screen protectors for the iPad 2.
2. I was curious how the Anti-Fingerprint protector would work out.
I'm not going to spend any time talking about the Clear protector, because it is as advertised. I ordered the multi-pack with the intention of trying out the anti-fingerprint protector and if I didn't like it I knew I could fall back to the anti-glare which I had previously used and liked.
My previous multi-pack from myGearstore (Clear & Anti-Glare) came in two separate envelopes, so my expectations were the same. However, this time around myGearstore sent all 6 screen protectors in one pouch. This would have not been a problem except they are not separated or labelled. This is not a problem for the clear since you can easily tell which one that is. However, there is NO visible difference between the anti-glare and anti-fingerprint films. I contacted myGearstore about this and since this is a review of the product itself, I won't go into detail about our conversation. The end result was this response from myGearstore:
" The anti-glare protectors are slightly hazy to look though when held to the light while the anti fingerprint covers are far thicker and hazy to look through in the light. Just as a note these items are not hazy once placed on the phone."
I held all 4 films (2 anti-glare & 2 anti-fingerprint) and none of them had any visible difference to any of the others. I'm going to assume there is some difference (albiet microscopic it seems), and that they didn't send 4 of the same film... simple labeling would have easily solved this problem.
I have installed one of them so far, but I can't for sure tell you which one (either anti-fingerprint or anti-glare). The install was easy, no bubbles or dust on the first try. The screen protector (which ever one it is) does help on both the glare and fingerprint front, but does affect the picture quality a bit. If you are shopping for an anti-glare screen protector then you need to be aware of this trade off.
Overall, the film met my expectations and is great for the price. Unfortunately I can't comment on the difference between anti-glare and anti-fingerprint since there is no way to tell them apart.
