I recently purchased an iPhone 4S and was researching what case would work best when I go out for a jog. The problem I faced was that I didn't want to have to take the phone out of it's protective case every time I wanted to work out. I have a Speck CandyShell case that makes the phone considerably larger. I was concerned that the Arkon case (or others for that matter) was going to be too small.
This armband is PERFECT for my needs. The phone fits snuggly and I have no worries that it'll slip off my arm, or get affected by sweat. The face of the phone is fully accessible through the clear screen so I can use RunKeeper without any issues. There's a tiny pocket behind where the phone slides in for holding cards, cash or keys. I used that as a test for moisture by putting a $5 bill in there - it was dry after a 40 minute run. I also really like the additional small strap that holds your excess headphone cord in place and out of the way.
Very pleased with this product for the price. Would highly recommend!

 Not perfect for Droid Razr, but it works Jan 14, 2012

I bought this for my Droid Razr and it fits...with a little creative cutting.
I know what you're thinking, why would I want to buy this if I have to cut it to make it fit the product I'm buying it for?! Well, that's fine if you feel that way and I certainly can't fault you for moving along to other products (that's sorta the reason I wanted to let people know it doesn't fit the Razr perfectly since there were no other Razr reviews).
The problem lies with the location of the headphone jack on the Razr compared to where the hole is for the jack on the holder. The jack on the Razr is on the top right and the hole for headphones is more in the center area for this armband.
In the end, because it does fit the phone securely (which is ideal for running, the reason I needed an armband), I felt it was better to cut the top slightly to allow proper plugging rather than return the item and buy other products that I wasn't sure would fit the Razr either.

Great product. Much better than expected. Holds my droid charge with case on securely, while still allowing me to manipulate the screen through the clear plastic. Holds secure on my arm through long runs and doesn't need to be cinched up so tight that it cuts off my circulation! First review I've written...it was that good!

Long story short, I order 2 others before this one and sent both back due to being unable to fit my arm. Not only does this one fit my HTC EVO w/extended battery (without the protective case on) sufficiently but it also fits my big arm (20") without issue and given the elastic breathable material there is no issue of continuing to fit (or stopping my circulation) when I'm pumped up in the gym doing arm curls. Its a generic fit on the screen so there's wrinkles in the plastic as you would expect but overall definitely does the job and beats the heck out of;

I didn't expect this to be a very good case, but the build quality seems to be very high, and it held my big, heavy smartphone nice and still through a long run. The armband elastic is very robust, and the case itself holds the phone securely. Overall, a great strap.
